Kestrel invented a new game yesterday. It is called I Don't Love Hannah. FYI, Hannah is her big sister who is 11 years her senior. The game goes something like this:
'Do you love Hannah?"
"I don't love Hannah."
"Do you love Mommy?"
"I love Mommy."
"Do you love Daddy?"
"I love Daddy."
"Do you love Kes?"
"I love Kes."
"Do you love Hannah?"
"I don't love Hannah."
"Do you love the baby?"
"I love the baby."
"Do you love Hannah?"
"I don't love Hannah."
This continued for several rounds and finally Hannah pretended to cry. I told Kes she must go give her a hug and kiss and tell her she loves her. She ran over, hugged, kissed, said "Don't cry Hannah, I love you!" As soon as Hannah pretended to stop crying: "I don't love Hannah."
You gotta love preschoolers!
