Today I dragged myself out of the house and went and had lunch with a friend of mine from work. We had a lovely time and I spent a little time at the office visiting with everyone then went on my way to shop for a new bra. Since I pretty much don't need the nursing bras anymore and they provide literally no support, I decided that I should head over to The Bay where I know the ladies there are trained to fit you properly for a bra. Remember my post about jean angst? Well today would have been a day for bra angst, except that I got myself a degree in bralogy from Bernice - the nicest little bra fitter you've ever seen. She even showed me her bra and also I got feel how not tight her bra was fitting. It was pure magic. She even complimented me on being an apt student. And as luck had it, The Bay was having their annual bra blowout and so I came away from there with four new bras. Now they aren't the sexiest things in the world, but they will pass for certain. And they made the twins look nice so I'm happy.
I have one funny Kestrel story from today. I was talking to my sis on the phone today and she got her little guy to sing the alphabet to me - he is 20 months old and he can sing it to the letter G - so I was pretty impressed. I put the phone on speaker and let Kes hear him sing. First of all she's twirling her finger like 'get on with it' and then she finally says "No Dane, it's LMNO Q!" My sister and I howled for about a minute on the phone. Good times.
That's about it for today. I promise pictures in my next post!
